In a car market filled with so many over-styled, bloated, bank vaults like the Malibu, Camry, Sonata, Optima, the 6 is oh so refreshing.
The interior while not a work of art, is just as classy and supple as the VW Passat's IMO, again as opposed to swooping, loopy, two-tiered over-styled consoles.
As for the exterior, I cannot believe so many people are complaining about the style.  This is one of the most graceful designs I've seen on a car especially at this price.  The body looks like it forms around the components underneath it rather than droops or juts out of the main line of the car, like the aforementioned bloated, bulbous designs that are coming in to the market.
I think it will be fairly competent in the mid-size sedan realm, but I don't think it will turn the segment on its head or get the type of sales bonanza the new Passat has enjoyed.
