You could say that a Formula 1 driver will find it hard to have fun in a series-production road car, after being used to F1's extreme sensations. But we’re talking here about the 570HP Ferrari 458 Italia, arguably one of the best mid-engine sports cars available on the market right now.
Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa took the car for a spin around the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona to see how it handles.
Leaving aside that this was obviously a marketing exercise for Ferrari, it is impossible not to notice the genuine smiles on both F1 pilots' faces while driving the tail-happy 458 Italia on the track. This video also proves F1 drivers are humans too, and they're quite nervous when sitting on the passenger side, even with a world-class racing driver behind the wheel…
